The Journal

Our organization published The Journal for the years 1989 – 2007. This was a quarterly publication containing articles of genealogical interest to researchers, mainly in Northwest Louisiana, but other areas were also included.

The entire collection of The Journal has been placed on our website. They are also available in the Genealogy Department of the Shreve Memorial Library on DVD and online to Shreve Memorial Library patrons.

Each quarter of The Journal has a Table of Contents at the front and a Surname Index at the Back. In addition, we created a comprehensive index of the articles published over the years. (see below).

The Ark-La-Tex Genealogical Association has also scanned all the copies of their quarterly publication The Genie. They are available on their website: http://www.altgenealogy.com/genieArchives.htm
