We strive to offer educational programs that are genealogical or historically oriented. Frequently, in addition to our monthly featured program, we provide a short (usually 15-20 minutes) 'hornbook' session by an Education Committee member that focuses on a genealogy research topic.

Directions to the Museum: From Shreveport, take North Market/Hwy 1 north about 20 miles to Oil City. Take right at Savage St. Museum is at corner of Savage St. and Land Ave. Program begins at 1:00pm
